Reader Companies hiring EAs for "culture fit" just want someone who won't blink an eye when they're being exploited. #facts Here's what my 💩 mierda meter hears when they say "culture fit": You're in an interview. Everything seems fine. The responsibilities are responsibility-ing. The exec is exec-ing and seems nice enough. Then they say, "We really pride ourselves on our culture here. It's important that new hires are a good culture fit. Would you say you're a team player? Are you flexible? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments?" These aren't trick questions—except they kind of are. Because "team player" often means "won't complain when we violate your boundaries." "Flexible" often means "will accept constantly changing priorities and last-minute demands without pushing back." "Fast-paced" often means "chaotic and understaffed." They're not assessing your skills. They're assessing your willingness to tolerate dysfunction. And you're someone who genuinely IS a team player. You ARE flexible. You CAN thrive in fast-paced environments. So you answer honestly. "Yes, absolutely!" Three months in, you're drowning. The "fast-paced environment" is actually just poor planning. The "flexibility" they wanted is you working nights and weekends. The "team player" expectation means you can't say no to anything. But you keep trying to make it work because you said can handle this. You've handled worse. You don't want to be the problem. Or worst... NOT A CULTURE FIT (*chills*) You're not the problem. The culture is the problem. And you need someone to help you see that—ideally BEFORE you accept the offer, but even if you're already there, it's not too late to course-correct. Book an EA Power Hour (just $200 with founder pricing, 20% off). In 60 minutes, we'll:
If you're currently in a toxic "culture fit" situation, this one hour gives you a strategic exit plan. If you're interviewing, this one hour helps you dodge the bullet. Reply "POWER HOUR" and let's get you out of (or away from) dysfunction. You don't have to fit into a broken culture. You deserve a company that fits YOU. Christina Torres

Reader Most (great) EAs are doing Chief of Staff work for Executive Assistant pay—and companies know it. Here's what I mean: You're not just managing a calendar. You're making strategic decisions about your exec's time (which is probably worth $500/hour). You're managing budgets (sometimes in the millions), coordinating cross-functional projects, building systems that didn't exist before you got there, and solving problems your exec doesn't even know exist yet. That's Chief of Staff work....
Reader Not to be dramatic, but your website copy might be sabotaging your sales RIGHT NOW while you’re busy doing… literally everything and anything else. The truths? Most entrepreneurs are leaving serious money on the table because they can’t articulate their value in a way that makes prospects feel SEEN. You know that “is Instagram listening to my thoughts?!” feeling? YOUR copy should give people THAT. Good news: I’ve bottled that magic into a workshop you can watch anytime. 🔥 QUICK COPY...
Reader!!!! So you scored tickets to Bad Bunny’s summer residency in Puerto Rico?! ICONIC. Maybe you’re still deciding if your bank account can handle it? Either way, this email is a little out of the ordinary because I’m NOT a vacation vlogger. But honestly, how could I possibly gatekeep how to do P effing R on a budget that doesn’t make you stress-eat airport Auntie Anne’s? QUICK BACKGROUND: I went to Puerto Rico in April for my "avoid the crash-out" vacay and wanted to share all my tips...
